Meredith Ann Whipple was born in New York City, attended The Wooster School where she graduated cum laude and went on to gain a BA in 1978 from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. She worked at Sotheby’s and William Doyle Galleries in New York City before moving to Honolulu, Hawaii to work as a curator, appraiser and buyer with a private collector.

Branching out on her own, she founded Meredith Ann Whipple Appraisals encompassing valuations, estate sales, liquidations and donations for tax purposes. She became an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers in 2003. Moving back to the Mainland, she is continuing her business in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Her downsizing business has helped organize many for a move to smaller or different locations and has helped to re-organize or de-clutter homes. In addition she appraises antiques and collectibles including 18th and19th Century American and European furniture, decorative arts, porcelain, pottery, glass and silver, vintage & antique toys.

Her energy and professional abilities have helped numerous families with their transitions.
